فض في فجر اليوم عمال شركة القناة للموانئ والمشروعات الكبرى اعتصامهم بعد مفاوضات جرت بمقر أمن الدولة حضرها إثنان من نواب مجلس الشعب عن الحزب الوطني. حصل العمال المعتصمين بمقر الشركة منذ أول يوم في شهر رمضان على بعض الوعود الشفهية:
1- رفع بدل الوجبة من26 جنيه إلى 52 جنيه
2- رفع بدل الجهود الاضافية بنسبة 50%
3- العمل على إصلاح وصيانة المعدات بالشركة
